Description
A choke using the fist or forearm against the throat while the other arm threads through the sleeve or behind the head.
History
Named after Brazilian judoka Ezequiel Paraguassu, who famously used this choke even from inside closed guard. The no-gi version uses the wrist instead of the sleeve.
Technique Notes
From mount, reach behind opponent's head with one arm. Thread other hand through your own sleeve (gi) or grip wrist (no-gi). Place fist or blade of forearm against throat and squeeze arms together.
